Walk past the butchers and past 'Salmon Cottage'. Just beyond this is a set of steps off to the right with a sign on the house gable end saying Slippery Hill. Turn right here and follow the path up the steps, Rose Cottage is tucked away on the right hand side and is the second half of the two tall, narrow stone and brick semi's in front of you.
