Sarah is the heart and soul of Leapfrog Lettings & Sales, leading by example and ever striving to improve our customer service experience. Sarah became an Estate Agent in 1988 when leaving school and worked her way up from an Office Junior to then managing some of the largest corporate estate agents in the East Cleveland, Teesside and North Yorkshire Areas. After such a long time in the industry it was a natural progression for Sarah to own her own business and in 2009 she took the decision to open Leaprog Lettings and Sales, venturing out to provide something that was missing in our area, seeking to employ the best available staff and deliver exceptional service. Her knowledge of the property market in the area and her wealth of experience, place Leapfrog at the forefront of the market and they enjoy one of the highest Google ratings in Teesside and North Yorkshire and is delighted to have recently won GOLD for sales and ‘Best in Postcode’ at the EA Masters held in London, ranking Leapfrog in the top 500 of UK national agents, along with also winning SILVER at the ESTAS a few weeks later, again held in London, which add to the awards won in 2021, 2022 and 2023 for the UK Enterprise.
Chris Hartley
Operations Director, Viewing Assistant & Property Inspector
Sarah’s husband Chris joined us five years ago after a long career with several national car dealerships as a Motor Technician. With Leapfrog accelerating at speed in the local area, it was a natural progression for Chris to move over and help run the business, providing an unrivalled accompanied viewing services (often at unsociable hours), property inspections and property maintenance to our many managed rentals. Chris loves all aspects of sport, is a keen mountain biker, a lifelong ‘Boro fan’ and enjoys travelling. Weekends when not working, are spent with the family and walking miles with their labrador’s Kobe & Ted. Chris’s exacting nature and local knowledge, makes for the perfect combination ensuring our viewers have all the information they need.
Emily Harrison
Sales & Lettings Negotiator
Emily brings a wealth of local knowledge to our team and her background in Estate agency has helped immensely with moving the business forward, offering a sympathetic ear to clients where needed and is extremely patient, outgoing and a valued member of the team who really loves her job, where no two days are the same. Often being the first port of call for many of our buyers, sellers and tenants, Emily is often a favourite choice with clients when ringing our office and when she isn’t working, she can be seen walking her two dogs Hugo and Clifford with her family. She loves eating out, travelling, going to the cinema and has a strong passion for tea and biscuits.
Eleanor Schofield
Sales & Lettings Negotiator
Ellie joined our Team in October 2022 and to be fair, has hit the ground running ever since having lived and worked in the local area, bringing a wealth of local knowledge to the team. Ellie is super organised and her high work ethic are just a few skills that have contributed to our fabulous team. She is responsible for listing and showcasing your home correctly and is a wizard on our social media pages, promoting our videos and Reels regularly. Ellie’s two small children means she doesn’t get lots of spare time, but when she does, you will find her making improvements to her home and spending quality time with family, friends and walking her dog ’Buddy’ .
Jennifer Allen
Sales & Lettings Administrator
Jennifer began her estate agency career in 2006 and quickly gained the knowledge and legislation required to move forward and progress her career. Jen loves dealing with clients and offers a much needed Administration role here at Leapfrog. She is a keen member of the team who works part time whilst looking after her busy twin boys and you will often see Jen in and around Great Ayton, enjoying her weekends with her family and dog ‘Daphne’.
Kobe
Assistant
Kobe joined our team in August 2021 following in his brother Woody’s footsteps and comes with a classic pedigree but is formally not qualified. Working five days a week and occasional weekends, he greets customers, consults avidly at biscuit time and generally helps boost staff morale. Kobe often accompanies Chris on viewings and is always pleased to meet new friends, both two and four legged. Hobbies include birds, regular walks, paddle boarding and he is a very keen swimmer. Likes wood burners and the biscuit barrel, less keen on cats and motorbikes.
Little Ted
Junior Assistant
Ted joined our team in early 2022 and really was a surprise to Sarah and Chris as they didn’t envisage having another addition, however, Little Ted brings an abundance of energy, enthusiasm although again, not yet qualified! He’s always seen around the office and loves stretching his legs o the beach and moors and enjoys meeting clients too. His hobbies include swimming, entertaining, running (off), playing with sticks and belly-rubs and is partial to any kind of food, less keen on anything that moves and cats.
Robyn
Viewing Assistant
‘Robyn’ (Kermit’s nephew) was welcomed into ‘Team Leapfrog’ in 2020 and can often be seen leaping around our East Cleveland and North Yorkshire villages most days of the week. He is a fast learner, reliable, miles of local knowledge and is always volunteering to meet clients on viewings. Lots of people often wave when passing Robyn and I am sure he will be here helping us, for a very long time …
